Job Summary

Fast paced law firm in Albany, NY seeking receptionist/administrative assistant for a full-time position supporting a team of attorneys and paralegals focusing in the areas of adoption, surrogacy, estate planning, divorce, family, and intimate partner law. Anticipated start date of March 1, 2020 or sooner. Starting salary: $17.50/hour (with a 6-month probationary period).

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Candidate will be the first point of contact for our Firm. The Candidate will welcome clients and other visitors to the Firm. The Candidate will also coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls. The Candidate will also offer administrative support across the Firm to attorneys and paralegals, including processing payments, ordering supplies, coordinating vendor services, making travel accommodations, renewing memberships, coordinating internal and external events/meetings, opening and closing client files and scheduling client appointments. This individual should be highly motivated, detail-oriented and project a positive attitude. Candidates will possess excellent organizational, verbal communication and time management skills.
