Shaneika “Shay” Sotelo (she/her/hers) earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Women’s and Gender Studies from Clark University where she held multiple leadership roles as a point of contact and general resource to other students on campus. Of particular relevance, Shay was an Undergraduate Research Assistant for the Psychology Department’s Diverse Families and Sexualities Lab where she assisted in a qualitative study on LGBTQIA+ and heterosexual families’ experiences in parenthood through adoption, surrogacy, and or assisted reproduction. Shay’s academic insight into part of the services offered by the firm will aid in handling client relations with cultural humility and sensitivity. Additionally, she has demonstrated history in customer service, front desk coordination, and community outreach.
Shay currently resides in Hudson, NY where you can find her hanging out with her partner, Sarah, and her dog, Oscar. Shay also enjoys reading, listening to music, and creating various forms of art.
