Primary Practice Areas
Rebecca Wager is nearing the completion of her law degree at Albany Law School. For the 2017-2018 academic year, Rebecca served as a co-chair of the Women’s Caucus of Albany Law School. Additionally, Rebecca volunteers her time with The Legal Project’s Uncontested Divorce Clinic, as well as with Stronger Through Every Mile (STEM), a couch-to-5K program that works to empower survivors of domestic violence. Rebecca continued her advocacy work in Albany Law School’s Domestic Violence Prosecution Hybrid Clinic under the direction of Professor Mary Lynch. Rebecca most recently interned with The Legal Project, where she had the opportunity to assist attorneys in providing free and low cost legal services to survivors of domestic violence. It was at The Legal Project that Rebecca began to deepen her interest and appreciation for serving the community through her work in family law.
Prior to law school, Rebecca worked at St. Bonaventure University as an Assistant Director of Residential Living, where she oversaw a campus community of 1,500 undergraduates and counseled students in academic, emotional, and social crises. Her work in the area of campus sexual assault led her to pursue a career in law.
Rebecca has a Master’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from St. Bonaventure University. Rebecca had the opportunity to complete the Francis E. Kelley Oxford Programme, at Trinity College of the University of Oxford in Oxford, England where she created a multi-faceted marketing plan for an international business client. Rebecca has also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Visual Art from Siena College, where she received the Board of Trustees Creative Arts Award in 2012 for her work in her capstone gallery show, Closely Kept.
