Primary Practice Area
Rebecca Rice is a litigation paralegal assisting with all phases of divorce, family, and intimate partner law from inception through discovery and trial. Additionally, she assists with all aspects of law office administration, including interacting with clients and handling client billing for our litigation team. Rebecca also assists with the scheduling for the Albany County Family Court Virtual Help Center. The Albany County Family Court Help Center program connects family court litigants to volunteer attorneys to assist with filling out pro se petitions and offering brief legal advice. During her career, she has assisted with document review, document drafting, and legal research as well as drafting, preparing, and executing documents for filing and processing throughout the New York State County Supreme and Family Court Systems. In previous positions, Rebecca has supported multiple attorneys who concentrated on military, security clearance, employment, matrimonial, and family law.
Rebecca graduated with honors from Hudson Valley Community College with a dual degree in Public Administration and Political Science. Most recently, she graduated from Texas A&M University Commerce with a degree concentrating in Business Marketing. She is currently an active member of The National Society of Leadership and Success, Sigma Alpha Pi. Rebecca is also a member of the Capital District Paralegal Association, Empire State Alliance of Paralegal Associations, and the National Federation of Paralegal Associations. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Capital District Paralegal Association as the Social Media and Newsletter Director in addition to taking on the role of Student Affairs Director.
Rebecca is a Capital District native who enjoys exploring everything that the Albany area has to offer. Rebecca is committed to giving back to her community through her volunteer work as an active member of the Junior League of Albany. She is currently serving the Junior League of Albany as the Vice President of Fund Development. Rebecca is also very active with St. Vincent’s Young Adult Ministry which focuses on serving those in the Pine Hills and upper Madison Avenue neighborhoods. She currently resides in Albany with her husband Marshall and their dog, Bonaventure.
