Primary Practice Areas
Kimberly J. Gallo, Esq., is an associate attorney at the firm who joined in November 2023. Kimberly focuses on estate planning and probate.
Kimberly knew she wanted to be an attorney when she was 19 and her dad passed away. Her and her brothers handled their father’s estate and Kimberly then began pursuing her passion to become a trust and estates attorney. Kimberly took an undergraduate court at University at Albany in trusts and estate law, and then knew for sure she wanted to be a trust and estates attorney.
Kimberly attended the University at Albany and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a business major and education minor. She then attended Brooklyn Law School where she graduated cum laude.
During law school Kimberly interned with a Federal Judge, Judge Lindsay, and was chosen amongst three other individuals for the internship. She also interned for Judge Sunshine in Brooklyn Supreme Court, where she did legal research, drafted decisions, and attended trials, hearings, and court appearances.
Kimberly’s first job was at a small firm in Garden City, New York, which focused on trusts and estates and matrimonial law. She then moved upstate to Gansevoort, New York, and worked for a law firm in Glens Falls focusing on trusts and estates litigation.
Kimberly also worked for 7 years at a local bank, where she served as executor of estates and trustees of various types of trusts. She handled estates from inception through conclusion.
Kimberly prides herself on being an advocate for her clients and representing their interests when they might not have a voice. Being that she served in the role of executor and trustee, she is also able to assist clients who are serving in these roles and provide them with practical guidance during the probate process. Kimberly understands on a personal level that her clients are going through a difficult time in their lives when they are going through the probate process. Kimberly forms close relationships with her clients, and she even keeps in touch with the first clients she represented after graduating from law school.
Kimberly has volunteered for the Adirondack Women’s Bar Association Legal Clinic since the clinic was started and ran the clinic for 5 years. The clinic is held at Catholic Charities where the volunteer attorneys meet with victims of domestic violence and give them free legal advice. She also volunteers in her community by running various school events at her daughters’ school.
On a personal level, Kimberly resides in Gansevoort, New York with her husband, Anthony, two young daughters, Giuliana and Gabriella, and two dogs. Anthony has his own business doing finish carpentry. Kimberly and her husband relocated to Gansevoort thirteen year ago from Long Island, New York.
