Our firm has experience handling all types of estate planning cases, from the most basic to multi-million-dollar estates that require advance tax planning. We take the time to discuss with our clients all of the various estate planning documents and which of those might be appropriate given their individual circumstances. The documents we offer our clients include Wills, Trusts, Power of Attorney, Health Care Proxy, Living Will, and Agent for Control of Disposition of Remains.
We help our clients troubleshoot any problems that might occur after their passing and draft documents that will, hopefully, avoid any controversy or family discord after the client’s passing. We also help our clients understand how some of the decisions they make about the disposition of their property might cause additional costs in administering their Estate, and help them to find creative solutions to achieve their desired result without the extra cost.
Our firm understands that some of our clients may not be able to travel to our office to execute their documents. We are happy to come to our clients or to meet at another suitable location. Also, in the event of an emergency (end of life or impending surgery or trip), we are able to produce these documents the same day or within a few days, as the circumstances may require.
Anne has been our family attorney for over 30 years. We have always found her to be fair, honest, and thorough. She is a tremendous resource of legal knowledge and advice that has served us well. Anne and her firm have performed real estate closings (residential and commercial); created leases, wills, powers of attorney and health care proxies; navigated the settling of estates with us; dealt with employment/employee issues and yes, addressed the occasional traffic infraction.
On many occasions, Anne has spotted issues or problems and addressed them quickly. Having her representation has always protected us and definitely helped avoid potential difficulties.
Legal transactions can be overwhelming requiring knowledge and expertise beyond the average family or small business. We have found Anne and her team to be caring professionals that excel at translating difficult legal concepts while always keeping the client’s need the primary focus.
