About Ellen (she/her/hers)

Ellen Gabelmann, Law Clerk at Copps DiPaola SilvermanEllen Lauterjung Gabelmann, Law Clerk, is a second-year law student at Albany Law School. Prior to law school, Ellen graduated cum laude from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Arts in strategic communication and a minor in fashion and retail studies. Prior to beginning her studies at Albany Law, Ellen served in a variety of human resource functions across multiple industries.

During her first year of law school, Ellen made the Dean’s List and was inaugurated as a Fellow in the Albany Law School Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI). The WLI is an innovative effort at Albany Law dedicated to normalizing female success in the legal profession. During the fall of her second year, Ellen won the Donna Jo Morse Client Counseling Competition.

In addition to her law school extracurriculars, Ellen volunteers with the Legal Project’s Uncontested Divorce Clinic to provide one-on-one assistance to individuals with the preparation and filing of uncontested divorce actions.
